What They Needed
A family-run taverna on the waterfront in Nafplio wanted to create a relaxed lounge corner beside their regular dining tables — somewhere guests could linger over a coffee after a meal. The catch: anything they used had to survive sun, salt air, and a full tourist season of daily use, without looking like typical outdoor furniture.
Our Approach
We recommended two pieces from our Outdoor Collection: a macrame lounger and a hanging chair, both made with our waterproof, UV-protected, windproof polypropylene rope, in a Sky and White Cotton combination that echoed the sea just past the railing.
The Result
The corner became the most-requested seating on the terrace by midsummer, and the pieces went through the whole season — sun, sea spray, and all — without fading or losing shape. The owners have since asked us about a second set for their winter dining room.
